Coinbase has just announced through a blog post it has expanded its staking service to all US customers.
According to the statement, Tezos is the first cryptocurrency available in this service.
From now on, all US customers of the cryptocurrency exchange who own Tezos can receive a 5% reward. This reward will be paid every 3 days.
Coinbase Custody started offering a staking service for institutional clients recently. However, this service was only available to institutional investors.
According to the exchange, it has paid about $7,580-8,324 in rewards during the first two months since the service went live.
Coinbase has reported it plans to add new cryptocurrencies apart from Tezos to its staking service.
