Ethereum-based payment platform OmiseGo entered into a partnership with blockchain protocol provider Mass Vehicle Ledger (MVL) in order to develop and research blockchain technology and a Proof-of-Concept model, according to MVL’s latest blog post.

The main aim of such collaboration is to develop a Proof-of-Concept and to find whether the decentralized OMG Network is suitable for MVL’s data record-keeping system. MVL is the protocol behind popular Singapore ride-hailing app TADA.

As it was stated, during the PoC, MVL will record data collected from TADA on the OmiseGo platform. After this project companies will continue further technical and research cooperation on possible blockchain applications in TADA’s services.

OmiseGO is a company providing an open payment platform and decentralized exchange issued on ethereum, an open-source public blockchain. The stated objective is to provide better financial services for everyone, including both people who use traditional banking services and people in developing countries and locales which lack traditional banking infrastructure.
