According to the announcement, a group of crypto experts from Japan Digital Design Co. may have estimated the source of the hacking attack on crypto exchange Zaif.

It is said that in cooperation with TokyoWesterns and security expert Takayuki Sugiura, Japan Digital Design Co. found at least five suspicious transactions related to the hack.

The investigation also highlighted it had obtained useful data regarding the accuracy of its information and the costs of transactions on the exchange.

Earlier this year, Tech Bureau Corp., the operator of a Japanese crypto exchange Zaif, said that after unauthorized cybercriminals accessed the platform virtual currency worth $60 million (6.7 billion yen) was stolen from the service.
