IOTA Foundation announces its plans to integrate IOTA tokens with Ledger’s hardware cryptocurrency wallets in order to raise the security level, according to a firm’s press release.
After the integration with the IOTA Trinity and Romeo wallets, the Ledger Nano S hardware will allow users to protect their private keys. The access to users' assets will be stored in a special chip and will isolate key from computer or smartphone.
The Germany-based IOTA Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports the development and standardization of IOTA protocol and is focused on building ecosystems around IOTA in order to facilitate its commercial adoption.
