Coincheck announces that it resumed "new account openings" and "customers’ depositing and purchasing some cryptocurrencies” services.

Coincheck suspended some services to protect customer assets and investigate the reason for hacking the system on January 26, 2018, which led to the illegal withdrawal of NEM cryptocurrency.

Since then, Coincheck has focused on improving its management and internal control of the business. To date, Coincheck has decided to gradually resume its services. The technical safety of the platform has been confirmed by third-party experts.

Coincheck resumed withdrawing JPY in February 2018, as well as the sale of cryptocurrencies gradually from March to June 2018.
