Malta will see a 10-story open space CryptoTower open by the end of 2019.

One of the most crypto savvy countries has made another step towards attracting crypto businesses to its shores. A 10-story CryptoTower, as it is referred by the owners of the building, is currently under construction and is expected to be ready by the end of the next year.

The building will provide a coworking space for companies and startups in St Julian’s. One of the owners of the building Kevin Buttigieg believes that the majority of working spaces in the future will be coworking ones: “It’s more economical, more environment-friendly and certainly easier for start-ups or individuals to get up and running very quickly.”

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

  • Not only is Malta creating laws so that the crypto sphere can prosper on regulated turf, but they are creating an opportunity for companies to come to Malta and be able to start fully functioning from day one without having the hassle of finding an office and all the problems that come with that.
