According to recent tweet of Marcus Zhao, a leader of Tron public chain division, by the 13th of October there had been 82 smart contracts deployed on the Tron platform following the activation of the Tron (TRX) Virtual Machine.

Marcus also pointed out that these contracts had been called 40,658 times at the time of the report which is a very significant result for whole Tron network. The developments from the Tron foundation on the project, are enough grounds to conclude that it is on the cusp of changing the blockchain industry in a huge way.
