According to the official Medium post of BitPay, one of the leading cryptocurrency payment processors has started to accept stablecoins. The company allows its customers to make and receive payments in Gemini Dollars (GUSD) and Circle USD Coin (USDC).
As it was stated by BitPay, stablecoins will enable their merchants to receive settlements in any part of the world even if they do not have bank accounts, since the coins exist on borderless blockchains.
BitPay is a U.S. based cryptocurrency payment provider that was found in 2011. The service provides payment services with bitcoin (Bitcoin) and bitcoin cash (Bitcoin.Cash) with a customer base of 20,000 businesses globally.
