HBUS, the U.S. strategic partner of the Huobi crypto exchange, hired a new Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), according to Cointelegraph press release.

The new CCO, Megan Monroe-Coleman, has previously worked as a Compliance Officer in the software giant Intuit and as compliance director at “Big Four” auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers .

Monroe-Coleman has worked over 15 years in the compliance sector. At Intuit, she developed and implemented the AML (Anti-Money Laundering) program and developed the money transfer licensing strategy for Intuit’s payments products.

HBUS is located in San Francisco and founded by Huobi as a “strategic partner” in the US digital asset market this June. Huobi competes with the large Binance and OKEx crypto exchanges and aims to develop its investment products and services and implement them all over the world.
