Roger Ver, the owner of Bitcoin.com, shared his plans to launch his own cryptocurrency exchange. According to him, he has not yet decided whether to acquire a ready-made platform or to find a partner to create a product from scratch, reports Bloomberg.
“If we build it ourselves, we can do it really, really cheap, and we get exactly what we want, but we don’t have the security of a battle-tested exchange that’s been around for a while,” said Roger Ver.
He added that the exchange will be launched on Bitcoin.com so it will be able to register tens of thousands of new users every day. Bitcoin.com already has a mining pool and cryptocurrency wallet. Bitcoin Cash will be the main currency on the exchange.
Earlier, the cryptocurrency community attacked Bitcoin.com with harsh criticism, they even wanted to sue Roger because the project began actively promoting Bitcoin Cash, positioning it as an “original” Bitcoin and actually misleading new users.
