According to the announcement of cryptocurrency and blockchain company SportyCo, the firm has raised a £45 million bid to purchase the Hull City Football Club from its current owners, Assem and Ehab Allam.

During last year the team was doing quite bad. Thus, Hull finished in 18th place last season, not far above the relegation places, and currently the team is rooted to the bottom of the league.

However, The CEO of SportyCo, Marko Filej noted that he believes that the change of ownership. the implementation of new strategies and attraction of funds will change this situation and bring the team to new heights.

SportyCo is a company that is using blockchain technology to provide a crowdfunding mechanisms. It also has its own SPF Token that is listed on several cryptocurrency exchanges.
