A famous former Brazilian footballer - Ronaldinho has unveiled his own cryptocurrency project. Ronaldinho Soccer Coin (RSC) will be based on the NEO platform according to the twitter account of the sports star. Malta-based company World Soccer Coin is a partner of the project that will lead the development of the token.
Why it is important
- The goal of the Planet RSC project is to create a youth football academy, a betting platform and infrastructure of sports facilities. Also, the technology will compile data of performers into a blockchain database. 1. On the website of the academy, its stated that Ronaldinho Academy will start operation in March 2019 with the first two stadiums completed by the end of 2018 in Asia. Five other already existing stadiums will join the cause. In 2019, several complexes in Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand will also join the effort. 1.
