Dr. Igor Ashurbeyli, Asgardia’s first inaugurated Head of Nation, announced that within 25 years there will be a habitable space settlement with its own cryptocurrency.
Ambassadors from over 10 countries, representatives of UN-affiliated public structures, astronauts, scientists, space industry managers, international lawyers, global media and of course the newly elected Asgardian Members of Parliament attended the inauguration of Asgardia’s first Head of Nation.
Following his oath of office, the new Head of Asgardia declared that a permanently habitable Moon settlement with artificial gravity and cosmic radiation protection will become the home of the first Space Nation.
The to-be-established National Bank of Asgardia will introduce its national cryptocurrency by the end of the year. Dr. Ashurbeyli has high hopes for his Space Nation, ultimately wishing to see 150 million people living in Asgardia. Currently, Asgardia has over 200,00 Earth-based citizens.
