The founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, called for the revocation of the nChain patent and to boycott its chief researcher Craig Wright. He believes that there is no innovation in the technique of deterministic key generation.

“This looks like they're trying to patent plain old public master key-based deterministic wallets, like what we had in 2013,” - wrote Buterin on Twitter.

NChain announced that it plans to create a set of blockchain tools that will facilitate transactions around the world.

Earlier, Vitalik Buterin criticized Craig Wright, who in 2016 announced that he was the creator of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto. In February, Wright was sued by the Southern District Court of Florida for fraud for $5 billion. The statement said that after the death of the criminalist and writer Dave Kleiman, who is associated with the creation of bitcoin, Wright forged several contracts and illegally seized his funds.

Vitalik Buterin Calls Craig Wright a ‘Fraud’

Australian businessman Craig Wright said that he is Satoshi Nakamoto disappeared in 2011. However, he could not prove the veracity of these words. Wright often states that Bitcoin Cash is a ‘true bitcoin’. The founder of the investment company EXANTE, Alexey Kirienko, also said: "Craig Wright is just an anecdote.”
