The first blockbuster about cryptocurrency is being filmed in Hollywood. The plot of the film "Crypto" will focus on laundering digital money.
The list of actors includes; Beau Knapp, Alexis Bledel (The Handmaid's Tale, Gilmore Girls), Kurt Russell (The Hateful Eight), Luke Hemsworth (Westworld), Jeremie Harris(Legion) and Vincent Kartheiser (Mad Men).
The creators claim that сryptocurrency “has never been explored in film in such a nuanced and exciting way.” The blockbuster is set to follow the life of the anti-money laundering agent.
Although its the fist film made entirely about crypto, its not the first time it was discussed in some of the films and series loved and enjoyed by millions around the world.

Big Bang Theory
A popular series about the strange scientists dedicated a whole episode to a cryptocurrency. The 9 episode of the 11 season is called "The Bitcoin Entanglement". The entire series is devoted to a gang of friends search for a laptop where some bitcoins were stored. We will not spoil it, but do have a look as it is a good laugh.
Silicon Valley
The series "Silicon Valley" is being aired on HBO TV channel since 2014. The topics of cryptocurrency and ICO’s are being mentioned throughout various episodes. For example, in the 3rd series of season 5, the hero main protagonist - Bertram Gilfoyle created a website with uses ‘death metal’ musical alerts, notifying users about changes in the bitcoin’s price.
