Wenn Digital, the developer of Kodak’s image protection blockchain platform, announced a new partnership with Oak View Group (OVG), to use their KODAKOne Platform on six OVG Arena Alliance venues:

  • San Antonio Spurs
  • Indiana Pacers
  • Sacramento Kings
  • Minnesota Wild
  • New Jersey Devils
  • Phoenix Suns.

Supporters of those teams will have the privilege to use the platform on their home arenas whereby up to 10 million fans will be able to upload, register and protect their in-venue photos & videos. Supporters will also be able to back their teams and make payments using the KODAKCoin tokens. Furthermore the six arenas will cooperate with WENN Digital to process their individual content to be delivered securely through the KODAKOne platform.

“We want to introduce the KODAKOne Platform to a creative audience that we believe will both benefit from its functionality and serve as early adopters… Given the millions of fantastic live event photographs generated each year at OVG’s Arena Alliance venues, this was a natural place for us to start.”, WENN Digital CEO, Jan Denecke said.

To promote the use of both KODAKOne and KODAKCoin Token, each venue will set up product placement events for attendees that engage with the platform. The arenas will also collaborate with WENN Digital to register their own video and photo content on the platform.

Earlier it was reported that Kodak Planned to Raise $50 million in Token Offering from both public and private token offerings. The company initially planned to launch the token offering in January 2018, but had to take a step back in order to comply with the rules of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The pre-sale of the KODAKCoin has raised around $10 mln and the public offering has taken place on May 21.
