Over the first three quarters of 2018, venture capital investments in crypto and blockchain startups reached $3.9 billion. This is 280% more than during the whole of 2017. This data was published in the new report by Diar research company.
The average invested in crypto companies amounted to $2.5 million (in 2017, it was $1.5 million).
The biggest number of venture capital transactions were conducted in the United States (79%), followed by China (12%), South Korea (2%), and Singapore (2%).
